Today we've been on Victoria Market again, except this was the Night Market. It started at 5 pm and the difference from the ordinary market was that they had almost only food-tents! Not that we complain, we love food, but yeah, it was quite tricky to choose what to eat! I ended up with a tray of Indian curry-chicken, a nice complement to all the sweet stuff we've been eating for the last couple of days..! Evelina got a burrito, and Patricia started with the dessert (in case she'd die after eating the main meal..!)

After a while we met up with Cecilia and Albin, some Swedish friends we'd met on our hostel in Cairns. I like meeting up with people again, cuz then you don't have to say good bye forever..! We tried some sangria (the best I ever had so far!), and started to feel a craving for that dessert Patricia had eaten! For those of you who wonder what it was, I can tell you what it was not: healthy!! It was dumplings (look and taste like donuts!) with melted chocolate and a big ball of vanilla ice cream! And it would have been enough with half the amount of dumplings... Buuut, on friday it's a new month and we're in a new country, so we will be taking a new grip of our lifes! ..I'll keep you informed on how that goes...

The not-so-healthy dessert..!
This morning we were so lucky that Dylan, our couchsurfing-host, brought us with him when he went to his parents house, which lies outside the city in a small community called Sassafras. We got to see some nature, something I've missed since we've been living in cities for the last weeks. The road that lead to the house was narrow and really steep, but it was totally worth it, cuz the house was so beautiful! Although, I can see why the postman leaves the mail in the postoffice for them to pick it up.. Got to see (and feed) a Kookaburra, don't know if that's so cool, but I though it was cute anyway! :)

Taking a coffee-brake in Sassafras!

After the house-visit, Dylan took us up to mountain Dandenong, where we got the best view over the city we could possible get! It would have been even better in the evening, he said, when the city's shining of lights. We though it was good enough as this time, better than any expencive city-tower you could ever get up in! And yeah, it was more beautiful in reallity than on this picture! ;)

This morning I also booked a ticket out of New Zeeland, since Patricia told me you had to do so to be able to get in....! So I took a look at google maps, closed my eyes and pointed a finger somewhere on the screen. Seems like I'm going to Brunei in a few weeks..! ;)
